Casa Borealis: A Colonial Oasis in San Miguel de Allende
Located just steps from the Instituto Allende and four blocks from the central Jardin, Casa Borealis offers a perfect blend of history and comfort in San Miguel de Allende. Built in 1733-34, this charming home features three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a pool. For larger groups, it can be combined with Casa Aurora next door, providing a total of 10 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.

First Courtyard: Lush tropical plants, citrus trees, and a pomegranate tree.
Outdoor Area: Covered seating/dining area with a fireplace and wet bar leading to the second courtyard with a heated pool and ancient stone wall.
Living Spaces: The first floor includes a living room with 18 ft. ceilings and a fireplace, a TV/family room, and a dining room that seats eight. The kitchen is adorned with traditional Mexican ceramic tiles.
Bedrooms:
First Floor: Golondrinas Bedroom with twin beds (can convert to a king) and an en-suite bathroom with a large tile bathtub/shower.
Second Floor:
Mariposa Bedroom (master suite) with a fireplace, four-poster king bed, and "his and hers" bathroom.
Papagayo Bedroom with a full-size bed, vaulted ceiling, and private bath.
Roof Terrace: Offers stunning views of San Miguel, including the Parroquia and Las Monjas churches, and surrounding mountains.
Renovations: The house was recently renovated by new owners (architects and art collectors) who preserved its Colonial integrity while adding modern comforts. The vibrant Mexican colors and carefully selected furnishings enhance the original architecture.

Newly Constructed 3 bedroom home on one of San Miguel's most charming streets. This home was built by one of the best architects/builders in town. Three guest rooms each with ensuite baths, separate den/office, mini splits ( AC & Heat ) in each bedroom, chef's kitchen, incredible western views including the Parroquia from the living, dining and kitchen areas. Modern Light Filled Three Bedroom Home
This newly constructed home is located in centro near the intersection with Homobono. It is slightly uphill creating expansive views of San Miguel's skyline. One walks into a large entry surrounded by a jacaranda tree hundreds of years old. The living room has double height ceilings and is filled with light. The attached dinning and kitchen make this living feel as spacious as it is. Just outside is a large garden with dining table and comfortable seating surrounding a fire pit. The views begin here with sight of most churches in San Miguel. Finally, this lower level has a bedroom suite with a king sized bed, en suite bath and large closet. This room also has direct access to the entry garden.
On the second level there are two additional bedrooms both with king sized beds and en suite baths. The level also has a small loft overlooking the living room and has a small working desk. The roof terrace is complete with a large sitting area, dining table, large grill and a powder room.
Full time maid service ( maid can help with light breakfasts only ), AC in every bedroom, filtered water throughout, high speed Wifi, cable TV with 10 US channels, luxurious bedding, towels and bath robes. This owner has paid attention to every detail. Pets are not permitted.
